How to read a tool result
Every tool result has the same four parts: a result heading (an area to review, not a verdict); a short explanation; one to three next-step links to the owner page; and a standard disclaimer. Tool results are never presented as a "pass" badge, an "eligible" badge, a compliance percentage or a guaranteed answer.
Any saved or printed result is a guidance summary — not a Home Office decision or legal certificate. It isn't a compliance certificate, an eligibility certificate or a sponsor audit report. Tools using volatile data show when the rules were last checked and direct you to GOV.UK to confirm current figures.
Keep personal data out of public tools. The tools default to on-page calculation and don't need worker names, passport numbers or Sponsor Licence numbers. Detailed privacy/data-protection handling sits outside the sponsor guidance and is covered by the site's separate privacy review.

Yes, because the sponsor guidance contains a clear CoS-type distinction for Skilled Worker sponsorship. The tool still makes clear that choosing the CoS type does not establish worker or role eligibility.
Can the ISC calculator calculate the employer charge? +
It can produce an estimate using current source-controlled rates and factual inputs. Where an exemption depends on additional legal or factual assessment, the result identifies the exemption for review rather than conclusively applying it.
Can a compliance checker say that a Sponsor Licence is compliant? +
No. Sponsor compliance is fact-sensitive and can involve multiple duties, records and Home Office assessments. A tool identifies areas requiring review rather than issuing a compliance conclusion.
Why are some tools marked "Coming soon"? +
Some functions depend on source material outside the current sponsor-guidance set, or require more volatile rule logic to be centralised before they can be built reliably.
