Written Initial Advice
Get a clear, written assessment of where you stand and what your realistic options are — prepared by an IAA-regulated immigration adviser and delivered securely as a PDF, for one fixed fee. It’s a practical first step when you want proper advice in writing before you commit to a full application.
How it works
We check that your matter is suitable before you pay anything. There’s no charge to ask, and no obligation to go ahead.
-
Tell us about your matter
Get in touch and tell us about your situation and what you’d like advice on.
-
We confirm it’s suitable
An adviser checks it’s within scope for written initial advice, then emails you a secure link to pay the fixed fee.
-
You pay securely
Pay £150 by bank transfer or card. Card payments are handled on Stripe’s secure checkout.
-
We send your advice
We prepare your written advice and email you a secure link to download it as a PDF — no account needed.
What you get
A written assessment, prepared by a regulated immigration adviser, of your eligibility and your realistic options for the matter you describe, based on the information and documents you give us. It is practical, initial advice to help you decide your next step.
Included in the fee
- Assessing your eligibility and the requirements that apply to the matter you describe
- Setting out your realistic options and the main risks
- Telling you what evidence is typically needed, and the likely next step
- Flagging anything that needs a full consultation or a higher level of authorisation
Not included
- Preparing, completing, checking or submitting any application form
- Appeals, administrative review, reconsideration requests, judicial review, or representation before a tribunal or court
- Asylum or protection claims, and any matter outside our IAA Level 1 authorisation
- Advice on tax, benefits, employment, family or criminal law
- Ongoing advice or follow-up after the written advice is delivered (available separately)
The fee
A fixed fee for written initial advice. ENS Consulting Ltd is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added — this is the total you pay us. Home Office fees and other third-party costs are separate and not included.
Refunds. Because we confirm your matter is suitable before asking you to pay, the fee is payable in full to proceed. If, after reviewing your documents, we find we cannot properly advise within the agreed scope, we will tell you and refund your fee.
What it is — and isn’t
Written initial advice is not a full consultation, and it is not the preparation or submission of an application. It does not create an ongoing retainer, is based only on the information you provide, and does not guarantee any outcome. If your matter is more complex than a straightforward written assessment, we’ll tell you before taking payment — and, where it would help, point you to a consultation or a suitably authorised adviser.
Our regulated scope. ENS Immigration Advice is regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA) at Level 1 (Advice and Assistance). We can advise on and assist with straightforward applications. We do not provide advice or representation on appeals, administrative review, judicial review, or matters before a tribunal or court; where your matter needs that, we’ll tell you and help you find a suitably authorised adviser.
Common questions
Do I pay before I know if you can help?
No. You start with a free, no-obligation enquiry. We confirm your matter is suitable for written initial advice before we send you a link to pay.
How is the advice delivered?
As a PDF, through a secure download link we email you once your advice is ready. You don’t need to create an account, and we won’t ask you to send passports or financial documents by email — if we need documents, we’ll tell you how to send them securely.
How long does it take?
We confirm a timescale with you when we send your pay link, after we’ve seen your matter. It’s usually a few working days from payment and from receiving everything we need.
What if my matter is too complex?
If your matter falls outside a straightforward written assessment, or outside our IAA Level 1 authorisation, we’ll tell you before taking any payment and, where appropriate, point you to a consultation or a suitably authorised adviser.
Ready to start?
Get in touch and tell us about your situation. We’ll tell you if written initial advice is right for you and, if it is, send you a secure link to pay.
